New Emmons Legrande 111

Post by Richard Plummer »

put a deposit yesterday on a new lashley legrande 111 with 8-6.The color will be midnite blue.I like black guitars but I wanted more of a high gloss dark color.
I felt I had to come to the support of this fine company and put my money where my mouth is.I am told that the wait period is 11-13 weeks and I have no reason to doubt it.
I still feel that Emmons is the finest steel guitar on the market second to none.I have watched with interest and sometimes horror to the amount of people that say they refuse to buy Emmons guitars due to the unfortunate situation,of the gentleman waiting such a long time for his beautyful new guitar.I certainly dont want to and dont expect this company to go by the wayside as other companies do.The track record in the past as well as the name recognition and beauty of the tone of this instrument is to important not to have our complete support.
I would encourage you all to support your dealers as well as the company itself.I feel Emmons is back and I certainly am willing to risk my hard earned money on faith on this matter. If anyone is interested,I will be happy to give the arrival time to me and post photos of my new baby. Image Richard
Come on Emmons supporters lets do it.

I have two Emmons guitars and have no desire to play any other brand. I think they are a fine company, build a fine instrument and I have always been treated fairly by them. I have to admire their restraint when they have been bashed on this forum for not lashing back. I think it shows the character of the present owners. I sure wish them all the best for future success. Congrats on your new investment Mr Plummer, I own 3 Emmons guitars myself and love everyone of them. I know you'll be very happy with yours when it arrives. Lil' Ron & Rebecca are great folks to deal with. Emmons guitars have the sound & quality that has been the earmark in Steels for almost 40 years. Ever thought about gettin a job selling them.
