Well it is just what I expected with JUNIOR running the show.It looks like they sent you a SEYMOURATONE by mistake, so now go to Bobbe Seymour's and get you an Emmons.

BTW, who is Joey Ace. . . .is he supposed to be some famous well-known hot-shot Steel player. I ain't never heard of him down here in Nashvegas. NR

Nope, just a weekend warrior trying to help out.

The bandwidth issue is because my FREE web provider limits transfers.

I found another FREE place.

The pix of Billy's new guitar are now at http://www.dreamwater.net/music/joeyace

Hope it works for ya..

That's a dandy Billy, and I notice the pad is higher than mine was when I got it. They were going to make me one as high as the strings on a C6th neck, but never heard from them. So I cut a board out myself 1/2" high and put it under the factory pad. Used black shoe polish to make the edge the same color.

I'd trade ya a dozen hens and a rooster for that V lever.

Billy, i'm as happy as you about that guitar. And i'm sure the old heart feels better also. And Joey, thanks for putting the pictures on so we can all enjoy. I think Nick must be joking about something. God Bless.

No Billy, I don't want to close this yet.

We've been thru such a rough time discussing your guitar in previous posts, I'm quite enjoying reading positive posts.
Keep 'em coming folks!

That sure is a pretty guitar!

Thanks John & Bob, you're famous too!

Billy--A really, really big 'cyber handshake' and congrats to you!!! You've hung in and been more patient than many(most) of us would have been. Hope you hear the sweet sounds and can forget the sour treatment.

Joey-- you were more agressive than some but not as much as I often wished I had been. I believe you helped.

Nick-- you were kind of 'snarly' with me once a long time ago. Reading some of your posts, though, I don't think you're really like that.

Ron, Emmons et al-- too bad things didn't go easier, quicker, smoother. Hope your other problems, if any, aren't as difficult. Good fortune in your endeavors.

Bob Lee--thanks. Although undesired, the part this forum played throughout this ordeal was important. Whether it did or did not affect the Emmons resolution, I feel it brought many people together. More than it may have forced others apart.

--just MY perspective.

I dont think the wait will affect Emmons. In fact I wanted to put for everyones information, that I have just put a deposit on a brand new legrande 111 8-6.The color will be midnight blue.I am told the wait will be 11-13 weeks and I have faith in them.My goodness we all need to support Ron and Rebecca all we can. They are still the finest steel guitars in my book and I am willing to put my money where my mouth is.I dont think the wait will exceed the predicted period and I think Emmons is on the way again. I will post photos if anyone wants to see them when it comes in.By the way I cant see the guitar also from the link.Oh well. God bless all.

The link to the photos did not work for me either. A few hours later it did. It does now.

They're well worth seeing, don't give up.
I'm not removing them.

And, a big "You're Welcome" to those that thanked me.

Please keep this thread on the topic of Billy's steel.

Hey Jenks:
COOL YER HEELS. . . . I was only wondering who Joey Ace is. I had seen his posts here on the Forum but wasn't familiar with him professionally, especially since he resides in Canada. I thought he might be another Al Brisco. My advise to you and Mr. Everett Cox, "PLEASE MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!" BTW, I like you're Emmons, I have a LeGrande III Loafer myself.
