I've had a few folks ask about a new Zum I had delivered a couple weeks ago(even though it was designed and ordered last July!!). So, I thought I would show it off to the world here. I only forced one image on you but if you want to see other angles, the links below will give you a more total picture (and shows the Chromed front panel even better). The guitar is beautiful to look at, and hear. Bruce Zumsteg is a true craftsman and has once again built a jewel to enjoy. Please forgive me b0b for taking up space but I couldn't stop myself!

Tommy, can you get a Zum with just a one color finish, like RED?. Your's Is a dandy, but I expect I could save half a grand or more with just one color. I don,t recall seeing one lately with just one color.

Bob.

Thanks for all the nice comments. (Except for Bob Farlow's. To him I ask, "What sneaker?"

And to answer Bob Carlson's question, yes Bruce builds lots of solid colored guitars. And they look great and sound great, too.

Thanks again.

yeah,Bruce will build you whatever you ask for, solid, patterns, exotic mica, lacquer...

the "split front" patterns on the front apron are only a nominal fee, nothing like a "half grand"- except for Tommy's De-Luxe chrome version I expect... Image Image

bee-yoo-tee-ful axe TD!!

I don't know where people are getting the idea that we're cramped for space. Not true. The Forum is on its own server, and Bobbe Seymour's posts don't even use half of the available disk space. Image

That's a real good-looking Zum you have there, Tommy.

I'm moving this to the 'Pedal Steel' area which is where everyone drools over guitars. Image
