Ron Elliot ?????????????

Post by JACK HEERN »

Did he fall off the edge of the earth? I haven't heard him or of him for quiet a while. He plays some of the smoothest and fullest E-9th balads I have ever heard with great tone. Just wondered!! We are all missing great pickin and humor.Wonder how we could smoke him out.

Jack,
Ron is in fact on of the smoothest player's on the steel.I had his album pure american steel, and all I have to say is "awesome".Waltz across Texas,Alway's chasing rainbow's,and many more.Ron also put out a gospel tape with the Jordanaire's,beautiful work man.If you have Buddy's email or number, Big E can surely get in touch with Ron, they are very close.

Ron's wife Leslie sometimes posts on this Forum and is a member. Do a Search For Leslie Elliot. Probably in the Bar Chatter Archives

I'm just commenting to bring this back to the top. I've been wondering the same thing.
