Sho-Bud in 1964 ???
Just saw this poster ad on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1512421113 showing pictures of many of the great players. However one of the pictures shows and lists Shot Jackson and Bud Charleton together. Was Buddy Charleton the "Bud" of Sho-Bud for a time when Buddy Emmons left to build the Emmons guitar?

Charleton was indeed the "Bud" of Sho~Bud for a short time in the early `60s after Buddy Emmons left. He would help in the store sometimes and when going back on tour, sometimes take guitars with him on the bus to deliver to customers. I just try to imagine how that must have been like - my favorite steel delivered to me by my favorite player.
