Tonight The Heartache's On Me

Post by Boo Bernstein »

In the Dixie Chicks' version of this song, on the second chorus at around the 1:53 time, there is a great lick where there are notes moving up as the bar decends. I know a number of these licks (like the famous Emmons one on strings 9,8 and 7) but I can't seem to find this particular one. Has anyone taken the time to figure it out? Thanks in advance. Boo

Standard E9, D lowers strings 4 and 8 a half step.

Thanks so much, Joey. It's funny I had been playing around with something close to that but couldn't quite get it. This is why I appreciate the Forum so much. Thanks, again.
