Man you guys do a fantastic job in bringing the history of country music to the forum. Thats the main reason I read here is for the history. I love to read the stories of who said what and did what at some old long forgotten recording session. Thanks to b0b for running a great site and MANY THANKS to all of you guys who post here that were actually a part of what we know of the history of the steel guitar and country music.

Your post was nice, but as a certified, authentic old timer with nothing but old guitars and amplifiers and 78 rpm records and 8-track tapes of Ray Price..... were you referring to us old guys, like Bobbe Seizemore, Carl Dixon, Jody Carver, and guys like that, or were you narrowing your field of praise just to the old timer session players right there in Nashville? Just was a wondering...don't you know.

Today's producers of country music appear to categorize steel guitars right in there with "banning the bra"...... which as you know, was a big flop!

And all these years I was thinking they were
BURNING THEIR BRAS !!

There goes my Historian Credentials. Now I suppose I'll have to depend on our designated Forum Historian, Bobbe Seemore !!
