Just saw David Byrne's "True Stories" on TV. A funny little film and one of my favorites for "just plain weird."
Who plays steel?
There is a steel on the soundtrack and there is a steel in the live band backing up John Goodman.

I think that Bruce Kaphan plays with David Byrne sometimes. Haven't seen the film, though.
