Just bought a couple of nice historic pieces:
An ETS S10 3x5. 40 pounds in the box. Jim made me an offer I couldn't refuse. And....
A Benoit 8 String Dobro built for and owned by Reece Anderson.
Many thanks to Jim Palenscar of Steel Guitars of North County for the great service and fantastic deals.
Pictures when they arrive.
Two pieces of history on their way to me.

The dobro owned by Reece, I would say might be described as a "piece of history".. However whats the historic aspect of the ETS?... I know they were short lived, with not many being built, maybe thats what you meant?.. I owned a black ETS, w/4&5 and some kind of sparkles in the fisnish, and it was a GREAT guitar.. Lightest pedal steel I ever owned, played better than just about anything I ever owned, and a sweet old school tone, very much like an old Sho Bud, but with incredible sustain.. I have NO idea how they got that old school sound out of a modern guitar with no wood in the body.. I made a big mistake selling that guitar.
I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!
