Nothing that I've heard of. The annual steel show that was in Lakeland is no more. The Florida Steel Guitar Club, that I was associated with for 18 years, is disbanded. The Manasota Steel club that was in Bradenton has also been disbanded.
Carlos, there are still quite a few steel players in Florida that would like to participate. It would probably take some time to get organized but I'd be willing to participate. Most of us are older folks so we mostly lean toward older, standard, country music.
