Thanks for that Tucker. I do try to share. Concerning wisdom, probaby most of that just comes from listening, experience and mostly drawing from the great wealth of knowledge of our brethren right here on the forum and the generous spirit out in the steel guitar world, the conventions and all that.Tucker Jackson wrote:Happy Birthday, Jerry. So glad you're here sharing your wisdom on a regular basis.
I sure appreciate all the kind words and all you guys taking time out to wish me well too. Thanks each and every one of you.
I've been so fortunate to have steel guitar in my life and having found this forum many years ago. The fellowship I've had and friendships I've made through this medium and out in the steel guitar and music world is all due to a decision I made about 45 yrs. ago to get involved with steel guitar. I was such a noob and ignorant wanna be that I soaked up every little steel guitar tidbit I came across.
Hard to say what my life would be had I chosen to ignore the calling, but I'm sure glad I didn't. A most rewarding and enjoyable experience.
