Jimmy Crawford loved Buddy Emmons

At one of the many St Louis steel conventions I ended up in a room with Jimmy Crawford and Russ Hicks. Jimmy was telling many stories about Buddy Emmons. At times he had tears in his eyes as he reminisced. I was very moved, they were true friends for sure.

This illustrates that even top musicians loved and appreciated Buddy. He was a rare person. Thanks for sharing, Larry!

Wish I had been there, Larry. Jimmy Crawford was a king-sized character too, though diminutive in stature!
