Tom Brumley's Celebration of Life
I would like to thank the Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree for the nice Celebration of Life they had for Tom. It meant a lot to myself and our children, Tracie Brumley of Nixa, Mo., Tommy Brumley of Ozark, Mo. and Todd Brumley, of the San Antonio Rose Live Band (bass player). They failed to introduce him for those of you who didn't know him.
I am back in Branson, Mo. so hope to hear from you all from time to time.

Thanks again to all our friends. Love, Rolene and family

Ms. Rolene, I cannot understate the influence of Tom on the steel guitar community. In a way Tom is immortal. There are many of us who study his style and carry on his playing. His playing style will be carried down from generation to generation of steel guitar players. A blessed man, and a friend to anyone who met him.

I wish I had been there to hear the tribute to Tom. He was a wonderful and very kind human being, as well as a remarkable musician. The generations of the Brumley family are all very talented.
Rolene - Tom touched the hearts of so many of us on this Forum, both directly and indirectly.
Last year's tribute at the TSGA was for John Hughey, and that was a very emotional experience. This year's must have been the same.
